Variflex Spring Trampoline - 12' Review

We bought a variflex 12' spring trampoline like the one pictured but it included a safety enclosure. We didn't have another trampoline before and only used one other friend's trampoline. The variflex 12' spring trampoline worked well. The instructions say that three adults should set it up but I was able to set it up by myself--it was a little tricky but I'm fairly handy. We've only had it assembled for a couple months. From previous reviews I learned that the pads and foam pole covers may wear out quickly when exposed to the weather and that replacement parts are expensive--we'll see. However, our trampoline blew out of our yard over a 3 foot fence across the neighbors yard and over another 3 foot fence and ended up bent in a couple places in the second yard over. I haven't found replacement metal parts on the web and customer service said that I would wait on hold for over an hour or could leave a phone number for them to call me back--I'm waiting. If you get a trampoline tie it down; these important instructions were left out of the product manual--they simply say "It is recommended that the trampoline be taken apart and stored in bad weather." The wind was only about 20mph. I could understand severe thunderstorms or severe winds but the wind that damaged our trampoline was comparatively mild. We are satisfied with our purchase if we can get the replacement parts.

Airzone Spring Trampoline Review

My children (13,5) have wanted a trampoline for several years.We finally broke down and let the "Easter Bunny" bring us one!Not even two weeks later, all the straps that hold on the blue frame cover (padding that covers the springs) have ripped out.Now there is nothing holding it on the trampoline.This is NOT safe! I can not let my (very upset) children on it until I replace it.....we will see how the warranty is, and just how long I will have to wait.

16 Foot Magic Cage Octagon Trampoline Unit Review

I love this trampoline. It is huge and heavy duty. The net is high quality and sewn to the mat. At first, I thought the 16' size might be too big but once we had it up and running, I was really glad I invested in it.

The one major drawback is that it is not easily assembled by one person in 30 minutes, as advertised, unless you are Arnold Schwartzenegger with 8 arms. I had to bend the metal frame so that it would fit together. I had to use my leg strength combined with my arms to get them just right. I had to use DW-40 and finally a hammer to fit the poles into the frame. The mat has a 450 lb weight limit so pulling that taught with the 112 or so steel springs was an ordeal (and I don't say that lightly).

Once it was finished, there is nothing like the glory of this trampoline. Dare I say it was worth it? Indeed! There's nothing like a good jump session under the stars!!
